2-Year Warranty — Quality You Can Trust

At IndianJewellery.com, every piece is artisan-made and quality-checked in our Surrey, BC showroom. For peace of mind, we provide a 2-year limited warranty on jewellery purchased from us (online or in-store) against manufacturing defects.

What the warranty covers

  • Manufacturing defects (e.g., faulty clasps, links, or solder joints)
  • Workmanship issues present at the time of delivery
  • Stone security where a setting was improperly finished at manufacture

What isn’t covered

Our jewellery uses brass/copper and high-grade alloy bases with plated finishes. Normal wear and environmental exposure will affect plating and stones over time. The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear: plating fade, micro-scratches, tarnish/oxidation
  • Damage from impact, bending, snagging, drops, or water/chemical exposure (perfume, hairspray, lotions, pool, sauna, etc.)
  • Lost or missing pieces/parts after delivery (e.g., single earring lost, backing lost)
  • Colour/finish variation inherent to handcrafted items
  • Unauthorised repairs or alterations
  • Accessories or gifts noted as final sale

How to make a warranty request

  1. Email support@indianjewellery.com with:
    • Order number or proof of purchase
    • Clear photos/video of the issue
    • A short description of what happened
  2. Our team will assess within 2 business days and reply with next steps.
  3. If approved, we’ll repair or replace the item (at our discretion). If the exact item is unavailable, we may offer a comparable replacement or store credit.

Shipping for warranty claims

  • Within 30 days of delivery: we cover return shipping on approved manufacturing defects (or accept free in-store drop-off).
  • After 30 days: customer covers inbound shipping; we cover the outbound shipping after repair/replacement.
  • In-store drop-off and collection are always free during opening hours (daily 11:00–19:00).

Care guide (recommended)

  • Wear last, remove first: avoid contact with perfume, hairspray, lotions, sweat and water.
  • Store pieces separately in a soft pouch; keep dry and away from direct sunlight.
  • Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after wear.

Important notes

  • Warranty is valid for 2 years from purchase date and is non-transferable.
  • Coverage applies to products purchased directly from IndianJewellery.com (online or Surrey showroom).

What does the 2-year warranty cover?

Manufacturing defects and workmanship issues—such as faulty clasps or improperly finished settings—present at delivery.

Is plating fade covered?

No. Plating fade and minor scratches are normal wear and are not considered defects.

How long does assessment take?

We usually respond within 2 business days after receiving your photos and order details.

Will you repair or replace?

We’ll either repair or replace at our discretion. If the original item isn’t available, we may offer a comparable replacement or store credit.

Who pays shipping for warranty claims?
